The location was beautiful, set in a competitive international market. the extensive breakfast offered a good choice of options. - the staff were very helpful, attentive, and provided excellent service.

We had a great stay at this small hotel. The location was central, very close to the Palheiro Gardens and Golf Course, as well as bars and restaurants in the area. It was also within a 45-minute walk to the lake.

Location: the hotel was so close to the bay of Funchal, the Palheiro gardens which one can step into easily to appreciate the tropical floral colours and scents, and the cafés. We had a twin room with a safe box, a mini bar and central heating.

The setting here was so nice, up on the hills with a gorgeous view of the town below. Plus, you could easily walk to a market and shops nearby. 🌄 the staff were really friendly and went out of their way to assist us, making our stay even better.

I recently stayed at Casa Velha Do Palheiro for a relaxing getaway. The hotel's location, situated on a hill overlooking the bay, was breathtaking. The beautiful British architecture and landscape added a touch of history and elegance. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the rooms, spa, pool, and gym were all in excellent condition. The hotel even had its own boat! The upgraded suite I stayed in had stunning views of the garden and golf course. a generous and upmarket experience that left me wanting for nothing.
